Capital Projects Advisory Committee

The Capital Projects Advisory Committee is advisory to the president on developing and implementing the university’s capital plans and decisions on capital investments.  The committee provides advice to the president on:

  • setting university priorities for capital investments
  • developing longer-term capital plans that support the priorities
  • approving building projects, land use, and property acquisitions/disposition requests

The committee includes the following representatives:

  • university president
  • associate vice president and chief of staff
  • senior vice president and provost
  • dean (representing the Council of Deans)
  • senior vice president for business and finance
  • senior vice president for student affairs
  • ISU Foundation president
  • associate vice president for facilities planning and management

Current committee membership

Meetings of the committee are scheduled to ensure that decisions are made and approvals are secured for all capital planning and investment activities.  Meeting agendas are developed by collectively soliciting input from the committee’s membership.
